I always center the stick before trying to pull it off, and I even made a big ♥♥♥ deadzone in the middle of the stick so I could be 110% certain that I wasn't making any unintentionally pitch or roll commands before initiating the maneuver. Of course I always make sure my speed is well below 500. Nothing happens other than that I pitch up and stall. I hit the two buttons, it triggers my high-G turn and I pull back on the stick. I even mapped my "throttle" controls to two buttons on the joystick instead of the actual throttle so I would be able to neutralize the throttle perfectly before the post-stall maneuver. I can do it with a controller every single time I try, so I know exactly how it's done. I'm using UCR to map the xbox360 controls to my joystick, and all the controls work as intended, but I cannot initiate a post-stall maneuver no matter what I do. Originally posted by Bummer6:Feels like I tried everything to get this to work. you have to apply some deadzone to throttle, about 20 to 30, as analog throttle cannot be as accurate as digital buttons. That means I managed to do high g trun roughly 8 times out of 10 trials. Now it is working like a charm, about 80 percent of success.

You can find several mod methods if you goggle youtube. In order to ensure the throttle is in the neutral position, I applied detent mod in the twcs throttle. Now, the most important thing is to put throttle in the neutral position(center) when trying to move high g turn maneuver. By default, axis is set to 0 which means half-pressed. The initial values were set to -100 which means that axese are not to be pressed when releasing the button. And, you can assign two axes to one single button. For me, Type A was much easier then Type B. I set button 3 on twcs as "axis to button" and assigned both LT and RT axes. I had the same problem with t16000m and twcs. It was measured by a platinum alloy device (that undoubtedly had some osmium in it, but was far from pure osmium, nor was osmium content how they measured), but now they are changing it to use Planck constant to define it rather than a malleable physical definitor. The same is true of the Lb, which is defined as being a specific portion of a kilo these days.Īlso, Kilogram has changed meaning multiple times, and I've not once heard of Osmium atoms being part of it. While the two are interconnected, they are not the same. Kilogram is actually not a measurement of WEIGHT. I mean, for 99% of situations not consisting of theoretical mathematics in scientific situations, Every measurement system is accurate enough, so long as you know what other variables are involved. Speed, however, is particularly problematic to get mathematically consistent values for because of relativity. A kilogram, for example, is a certain number of Osmium atoms, not a subjective weight which can change depending on things like altitude and even atmospheric pressure. Metric is more accurate because it's based on mathematical constants.

Specially when it comes to rate of travel in flight. No one measurement system is more accurate then any other. That statement makes absolutely no sense. Has ANYONE had any luck performing post stall maneuvers using a joystick? Not that it should make a difference since I am able to trigger a high-G turn just fine using my two throttle buttons.ĭid the devs seriously do this on purpose so that we wouldn't be able to use any unsupported joysticks to enjoy the game fully? seems incredibly spiteful if that's the case. I also tried the type B controls for the high-G turn, but that didn't work either. I always center the stick before trying to pull it off, and I even made a big ass deadzone in the middle of the stick so I could be 110% certain that I wasn't making any unintentionally pitch or roll commands before initiating the maneuver.
